A book i read recently was called 'Just Listen' by Sarah Dessen.
the book was based on a girl called Annabel, and her life. Annabel is a model, as are her two sisters. Her mother is determined for Annabel to do well, but she isn't that interested in it anymore, though she knows it will break her mum's heart, so she keeps quiet about it.
Over the holidays, alot changes between Annabel and her friends, so when she goes back to school she's very alone, and her best frinds Sophie and Clarke aren't talking to her anymore.
After a few weeks sitting on the wall, next to Owen, a really tall muscly boy, who doesn't have any friends, they two become really close. Everyone in the schol thinks this is really weird because usually two people like that would never be friends, but Annabel and Owen don't care.
The book continues on telling about their friendsship together, and the ups and downs they go through.
In the end, Annabel and Clarke are friends again, which is good. But Sophie is acctually a really nasty person, so i'm glad bvy the end of the book, she has no friends.
I thought this book was amazing, and i would definitely read it over again.
Recently read a book called 'The truth about forever' by Sarah Dessen.
The main character is a girl called Macy. At the beginning, her dad dies, and she is really upset, but she gets a job at a catering company called 'Wish'.
She meets a guy called Wes and they both like each other but cant find the words to tell each other.
Macy has a problem though, because she has a boyfriend, Jason, that is away to camp for the summer.
She starts to forget about Jason, and her heart tell her to go out with Wes, but she soon finds out that Wes has a girfreind, and things start to go downhill. Her mum doesn't want her hanging about with the people from wish because she says they are a bad influence. Eventually, her mum makes her quit the job, and Macy doesn't see the point in life anymore.
But finnaly she breaks up aith Jason and it's a big happy endind for her and wes.
It was quality.
